I am researching the dynamics of migrant networks with the aim of identifying the driving factors of migration and examining its impact on the social, economic and political structures of both origin and destination countries. I hold a bachelor’s degree in physics from Cairo University and a master’s degree in the physics of complex systems from the Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems, in Spain. My Master’s thesis investigated the economic impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic through the lens of network science.
